Lee J. CutroneManaging Director, Industry Relations, Omgeo Lee Cutrone is managing director, industry relations at Omgeo. He acts as a liaison between Omgeo and various industry players including clients, global advisory boards and working parties, regulators, depositories and industry groups. In this capacity, Mr. Cutrone ensures that clients and other industry participants have a direct point of contact for interacting with Omgeo on a strategic business level. Mr. Cutrone is also a member of the executive team, where he is involved in developing and executing upon the company's core strategies. Mr. Cutrone is involved in establishing the strategic direction of Omgeo's services and for structuring key business relationships to deliver appropriate industry-driven solutions. He currently serves on the SIFMA's Cross-Border Committee, as well as SIFMA's Asset Managers Forum Steering Committee; and previously served as an advisor to the Securities Industry Association's Straight-Through Processing (STP) Steering Committee, as well as its Institutional Transaction Processing Sub- Committee (ITPC), and T+1 Business Case RFP sub-committee. Previously, Mr. Cutrone held a similar industry relations position at Thomson Financial ESG, which, along with the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation, formed Omgeo as a joint venture in 2001. Prior to Thomson Financial ESG, Mr. Cutrone was senior vice president of the Securities Division at the American Stock Exchange (AMEX), having held several executive positions there since 1975. He also held positions at Stone & Webster Securities Corporation from 1973 to 1974 and Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith, Inc. from 1971 to 1973.
