Mark James Managing Director, Collateral and Margin Management As managing director, Mark James is responsible for spearheading the firm’s collateral and margin management business. He and his team are integral in providing Omgeo’s community with solutions that allow for the practical mitigation of credit risk and exposure. He is also a member of Omgeo’s executive team. Previously, Mr. James led Allustra, the collateral management firm acquired by Omgeo in 2008. As one of three founders, he took Allustra from its first customer in January 2001 to acquisition by Omgeo in September 2008. With over 20 years IT experience, Mr. James previously worked at PFS as a part of the management team responsible for the development of a Securities Lending Order Management solution. Prior to joining PFS, he worked for both UBS Warburg as a key member of the Securities Finance IT team, developing and supporting key global securities lending and inventory management systems, and Sybase Professional Services where his consultancy role give him significant exposure to the financial marketplace. Mr. James holds a computer science degree from King's College London. Back
