Steve Matthews Chief Operating Officer  Steve Matthews directs Omgeo’s strategy of enhancing the client experience and driving increased value by continuing to advance Omgeo’s technology architecture and infrastructure while further enhancing the product lifecycle and promoting the highest levels of service reliability and support. Mr. Matthews formerly served as Managing Director of Product, where he was responsible for Omgeo's product strategy as well as strategically aligning new initiatives and prioritizing solution-based investments within the firm. Prior to joining Omgeo, Mr. Matthews was chief operating officer of a United Kingdom-based financial markets start-up business with responsibilities including operations, offshore technology delivery and venture capital fund raising. Previously, he worked for EBS, the leading electronic foreign exchange broking service, where he provided strategic support to the CEO and Board. Mr. Matthews began his professional career with Price Waterhouse, splitting his time between their London and Boston offices and focusing on financial advisory, consultancy and M&A activities in the technology and financial services sectors. Mr. Matthews holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Exeter University in the UK and is a UK-qualified chartered accountant.
